Thank you for your interest in booking a Custom Consultation with Mary Frances Flowers! We’re so thrilled and honored to help bring your vision to life through a custom jewelry piece.

The Mary Frances Flowers Custom Consultation Pop Up Tour is a chance for me, Mary Frances, to meet with you in your city! We’ll sit down and chat about whatever custom jewelry ideas you’ve been dreaming about and discuss how to make them a reality. This is also a great chance to pass on your valuable gemstones in person if we’ve previously discussed a custom project together. Appointment slots can be made in one hour or 30 minute increments, depending on your needs. If you feel you need more than one hour, please book multiple appointments in the timeframe you desire (ie you could book a one hour time slot and a 30 minute time slot back to back to acquire a 1.5 hour consultation time)

We’ll share stories of why these jewelry pieces are so meaningful and find the best ways to honor any old stones you may have that you want to use or talk about the likelihood of sourcing certain stones you’ve been thinking about. Unfortunately, this is not a chance for appraisal on or cleaning of your old jewelry. I am not qualified to appraise gemstones, and I am unable to buy gold scraps. I would love to discuss your design needs in a comfortable environment. My stock jewelry pieces will be set up and available for try on and/or purchase should you choose to take some pieces home with you that day.

Depending upon difficulty level and speed of decision-making, custom projects can take anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks, sometimes 12 week if the piece requires sourcing rare or hard-to-find gemstones. Our goal through these Custom Consultations is to hopefully make some decisions while together, in person, such as chain length, ring size, and stone placement so that we may complete your project quickly and efficiently and have it ready for Christmas delivery!

The initial Custom Consultation is complimentary. We’ll discuss your needs and wants and develop a design plan. If all necessary decisions are made upon our initial meeting, you’ll receive a proposal in your inbox within a few days detailing the price and timeline of your requested custom piece. The proposal will include a deadline date for your piece’s deposit. This date is simply the deadline to put down your deposit for guaranteed Christmas delivery. If you do not wish to have the piece in time for Christmas or are not yet ready to move forward, that is completely fine, and we can pick back up the conversation in 2020 if you choose. The custom projects discussed during this tour will most likely be the last projects I take on in 2019, and my window for accepting custom projects will reopen in 2020 pending no major changes. Price quotes will not be given during our initial meeting unless your custom piece has been discussed beforehand as research and sourcing need to be done to create a quote and this process cannot be completed within the timeframe of your appointment window.

I will be available for Custom Consultations on these days, in these cities, during these hours ONLY. If you are unable to make it during the allotted times, I’m happy to discuss your custom needs via email or phone BEFORE October 8-17. After October 17, I will not be accepting custom orders, either in person or virtually.

Please be respectful of your appointment time. If you’re late, please let me know as soon as possible and know that your appointment may be cut short to accommodate the next appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment, please let me know as far in advance as possible.

As some locations are still being secured, the address of our consultation meeting will be emailed to you individually at least a week prior to our scheduled appointment.

You’ve booked an appointment - great! I can’t wait to meet with you. Here’s what to bring with you: any old gemstones or jewelry you would like to use in your new jewelry piece. Your finger/wrist/ear/etc for sizing. I’ll have a ring sizer for your convenience. If you are commissioning a custom piece for someone else and do not know their ring size, please bring a ring they wear on the finger you’ll want their custom piece to go on, and we can determine their ring size that way.
