MFF Book Club

I wrote a blog post a few years ago called "Inspiring Books You Should Read Right Now," and it's one I reference often when talking to friends starting creative businesses because it held a list of books I have on my bookshelf that guided me in creating the foundation of this business at the beginning. Something about hearing other entrepreneur's stories - the good, the bad, the ugly - is so much more encouraging to me than self-help or "business" books, though I have found guidance through those as well. However, since I moved my website from Squarespace to Shopify in April 2018, the actual layout and structure of the post was lost, but I saved the content. Instead of simply re-publishing it directly here on my new website, I thought I'd create an ongoing list of my favorite titles for you to reference if you're ever in the need of inspiration or encouragement.

Now, I'm going to be straight with you - I am not a big reader. Though I try and I try, I just don't read nearly as much or as often as I'd like to. I also am not typically drawn to fiction so this list is pretty much exclusively non-fiction (I'm a little nerdy that way). Some of the books are also many, many years old, but, I believe, still hold value. And, since publishing the original "Inspiring Books You Should Read Right Now," I've come across a handful of additional books that I think deserve a spot on the list. So, without further ado...
